Henry Colter came out of Montana with a weathered voice, a dangerous smile, and enough bad decisions to fill a few lifetimes. Cowboy, sinner, lover, survivor — he sings about men and women, mountains and motels, addiction, freedom, heartbreak, and the strange mercy that keeps a man alive.

His music lives somewhere between a church pew, a whiskey glass, a lonely highway, and the back booth of a bar you probably shouldn’t have walked into.

Henry never cared much for labels. Only truth, good boots, and whoever makes his heart beat faster.

Raised in Montana’s Flathead region, with childhood years in Sunset, South Carolina, near Lake Keowee. Home was never only one place. The roads got into the songs.

He is an alcoholic and addict in recovery. Recovery did not turn him into a saint. It made him responsible.
